The Italian Trade Commission (ITC): Atlanta office, responsible for the promotion of Italian furniture & home décor.

The Assignment

Design a logo and website to brand a new U.S. showroom dedicated to the Italian Region of Umbria.

Marketing Strategy

Create an engaging logo and website to educate a large audience of contractors, architects, and interior designers about the permanent showroom in the Pacific Center in Los Angeles, California. The Italian Trade Commission, together with the Italian Region of Umbria and the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, decided to create this permanent reference point in the USA to promote Umbria’s products. Umbria, situated in the heart of Italy, produces many products for home décor.


After producing the logo, we quickly realized a dynamic site that presents a large variety of products and manufacturers. Though turnaround time was fast, in order to meet preset deadlines, we successfully released a fully working site on time, on budget, and coinciding perfectly with the grand opening of the showroom. The event was presented live in Italy via satellite to operators and political personalities responsible for the project.

The Results

Thöndo is now working on website updates which will reflect feedback and data collected in the last six months of online activity.
