Italian Trade Commission (ITC), Los Angeles office, responsible for the promotion of the natural stone in the United States.

The Assignment

Design an engaging and easily navigable web site/directory targeted to importers, distributors, agents, and end-users of Italian marble.

Marketing Strategy

Promote Italian marble in the U.S. through a well-designed, user-friendly site that connects importers, distributors, agents, and end-users to an extensive resource of natural stone companies, machinery, and tools. Develop a membership directory to connect members to a wide array of related associations, magazines, and ITC sponsored events.


After developing earlier editions of the site, and experiencing the challenge of organizing the massive quantity of data related to this sector, we took a step back, re-engineered the flow of information, and constructed an intuitive, friendly interface. The search feature alone is a work of art, because it allows a full relational or simple single keyword search - assuring the result will be at your fingertips in moments. It’s written in stone, Italian stone.
